Introduction of HTML

                           HTML stands for Hyper Text Markup Language.This HTML is not a programming  language.This is just a Markup Language.First we start doing coding using notepad.The reason if doing coding daily it gives us a god knowledge about coding and an also we can get a good practice while typing these codes.But this is too difficult.

                            So now a days we can find many software's that makes us easy to do coding such Dreamweaver,Photoshop,HTML versions(controls by W3C. This means World Wide Web Consortium) and Coffee Cup HTML editor are the basically and now a days mainly used by the professional web developers.   

HTML Elements :-
                            HTML elements are defined as HTML tags.These tags are use to markup HTML elements.These html tags are surrounded by two characters.They are < and > .These characters are called as Angle Brackets.These html tags are normally comes with pairs such as <b>(This tag is the opening tag) and </b>(This is the closing tag).In this closing tag we must put this "/" slash mark if we didn't put that mark sometimes it want work because the opening tag hasn't closed. 

                          There is a opening tag and also a closing tag for each an every tag.But there are few of some tags which don't have closing tags only opening tags they have such as the <br> tag.This tags force to break a line where ever you need. Below shows some tag examples with opening tags and closing tags,

• <html>  - </html>    = This is the starting tag and the ending tag of the web page                                        
• <head>  - </head>  = This is the heading tag
• <title>  - </title>      = This is the title tag(this will visible in the tab of your web page)
• <body>  - </body> = This is the place which your content will appear. 

                                  The above 4 tags are the most important tags which we need to make our web page. So lets we see how does the basic structure of HTML look likes in notepad and later we will mover to Dreamweaver or any other web developing software.
